Most businesses only think about their electrical when it stops working or an auditor asks for a logbook. A maintenance contract takes both problems off your desk: we schedule the compliance testing, keep the records, spot the faults before they become failures, and put you at the front of the queue when you need a callout.

What a maintenance contract covers

Each contract is built around your site, but typically includes: test and tag of portable equipment to AS/NZS 3760; six-monthly emergency and exit lighting testing to AS/NZS 2293.2 with logbook entries; RCD testing; an annual thermal imaging scan of switchboards; lamp and fitting replacement; and priority response for breakdowns — with response times agreed and written into the contract.

Who it's for

Retailers and hospitality venues that can't afford a dark shop floor on a Saturday. Property and facilities managers looking after multiple tenancies. Strata managers with common-area lighting and essential safety measures to maintain. Offices and warehouses that need test and tag done properly and on time, every time.

If you manage several sites, we'll put them all on one schedule and one report.

Why a fixed fee works better

You know the annual cost up front, the testing happens when it should rather than when someone remembers, and the records are ready when your insurer, landlord or auditor asks. You also get an electrician who already knows your site — which makes every callout faster.

Frequently asked questions

Still have questions?

Ask the team
How much does a commercial maintenance contract cost?
It depends on the number of sites, the amount of equipment to test, how many emergency lights you have and the response times you need. We walk the site, count what needs testing and give you a fixed annual fee — no obligation.
Can you cover multiple sites?
Yes. Property managers and multi-site retailers can put every site on one schedule, one set of reports and one invoice.
What records do you provide?
A test and tag register, an emergency lighting logbook, thermal imaging reports with photos, and a service history for every callout — ready for your insurer, landlord or annual essential safety measures report.
What happens if something breaks between scheduled visits?
Call us. Maintenance clients get priority response, with the response times agreed in the contract.
Is there a lock-in period?
Contracts are typically annual so the testing schedule can be planned properly. We'll agree the term with you up front.
Do you work after hours?
Yes. Evenings from 6pm, overnight, weekends and public holidays. On a quoted job you don't pay a premium for after-hours work — the quote already accounts for it.
Can you send insurance certificates before work starts?
Yes. We carry $20 million public liability, professional indemnity and workers compensation, and we send certificates of currency before we start on site. Most landlords, centre managers and head contractors ask for them — tick the box on the quote form and we'll send them with your quote.
