Hospitality electrical is heavy load and zero tolerance for downtime. Combi ovens, fryers, induction, dishwashers, cool rooms and exhaust all want their own circuits — and the venue wants to open on the date on the invitations. We've wired cafés along Glenferrie Road and venues right across Melbourne's south-east.

Kitchen, bar and dining electrical

Three-phase supply and distribution for commercial kitchens; dedicated circuits for cooking lines, dishwashers and refrigeration; exhaust canopy and make-up air electrical; cool room and freezer room power; bar fridges, glass washers and coffee machines; dining, feature and outdoor lighting; and switchboard upgrades when the existing supply can't handle the new equipment list.

We check your equipment schedule against the supply before you order anything, so there are no surprises when the kit arrives.

Refits without losing trade

Most hospitality work we do is between close and open — overnight, early mornings, or on your quiet days. We stage refits so the kitchen can keep running, and we'll tell you exactly when power will be off and for how long.

Frequently asked questions

Still have questions?

Ask the team
Do I need three-phase power for a commercial kitchen?
Most commercial kitchens with combi ovens, fryers, induction or large dishwashers do. We'll check what supply the tenancy has, what your equipment needs, and whether an upgrade is required — before you commit to equipment.
Can you wire the exhaust canopy and cool room?
Yes. We do the electrical for exhaust canopies, make-up air, cool rooms and freezer rooms, and coordinate with the mechanical and refrigeration contractors on site.
Do you work after hours?
Yes. Evenings from 6pm, overnight, weekends and public holidays. On a quoted job you don't pay a premium for after-hours work — the quote already accounts for it.
Our kitchen keeps tripping a circuit. Can you find out why?
Yes. It's usually an overloaded circuit, a failing appliance or moisture in an outlet. We test the circuit and the equipment on it, find the cause, and fix it properly rather than just resetting the breaker.
Do you do café and restaurant fit-outs from scratch?
Yes — from a bare shell to opening night, working with your shopfitter or builder, or directly with you if you're managing the fit-out yourself.
Can you send insurance certificates before work starts?
Yes. We carry $20 million public liability, professional indemnity and workers compensation, and we send certificates of currency before we start on site. Most landlords, centre managers and head contractors ask for them — tick the box on the quote form and we'll send them with your quote.
Do you offer maintenance for venues?
Yes. A maintenance contract covers test and tag of kitchen equipment, emergency lighting checks, thermal scans of the switchboard, and priority response when something fails during service.
